Social Opportunities

We encourage social gatherings within the whole of NRE Discovery community as well as individual classes and individual student playdates. We recognize that it is important for parents to connect with others who face similar challenges and we know the importance of personal relationships for gifted students as it relates to self-esteem.

Summer 2023 events

• All Discovery families and students are invited to attend a Meet-and-Greet picnic on July 31, 2022. For time and place, please email nredbc@gmail.com

• Join your student's class What'sApp group. Here, you can connect with other parents in an ongoing conversation. For an invitation, please email nredbc@gmail.com

• Connect with your class through weekly come-if-you-can playdates. For day, time, and location of your student's weekly play opportunity, email nredbc@gmail.com.

• Look for 1-2 additional summer events organized by class. Invites are usually sent out via the What'sApp groups.
